Time is what we take for granted. Tik Tok not tic toc is an app that launched in 2017, has become the BIGGEST thing during this time of isolation, “Stay Home”, or however you are phrasing your time away from the old normal. It allows you to scramble, blend, and originate all sorts of video entertainment. I have no clue how it works because My K-Baby (goddaughter) advised me a long time ago “Nana, there are some apps you should not download because you are older”! I never got Tik Tok, Snapchat, or no other and not offended by her statement.
So, as I have watched several videos my feelings began to stir. The key was family playing and laughing with one another! Several persons coming together to dance, to do comedy soundbite skits, glam up, etc. Never in all my laughter and appreciation for the time passing videos would I imagine the sadness that fell upon me. I’ve mentioned before I am divorced, no kids, no pets, and the only other living thing I must care for is a plant. Ohhhh Lord, the plant is in my office, please God allow my plant to live! It is in this time I thought hard feeling as to why didn’t I have a child in my 20’s. Me being me, of course I reached out to the ex-hubby, YEP, we cool like that, 😊. After speaking with him, he helped me on a few things, what stood out the most was timing and being able to focus on other stuff. He started to sound like my mom at some point about me always being on the go, travel/work, and not still enough for kids. In my heart I always felt that if I were pregnant, I would have just adjusted accordingly. I asked God for years to bless my womb. Hannah’s prayer became mine. I currently believe in that prayer just not my need anymore, so I state. I have kids just not biological. Tik Tok stirred this and at 41yrs old I don’t have the BRAVO Real Housewife Money, so I am not going to stir any trouble.
There are so many ups and downs of timing. At the 30th b’day mark, I remember saying no kids unless I married again by 40th b’day. Girl, who are you to put God on a time clock. God has given me so many children it is unreal. I have adults and toddlers, some listen to my wisdom, some bring up my words when I don’t want to hear them, some are distant and shy, some are still learning, and yet they all know I am only a phone call away. This is a great gift as I can return them or put them out when ready, lol. Time is precious! I have no regrets just too much time pondering these days during the silence of what if? Use your time wisely, don’t rush God! It is obvious we are still missing the mark on some things based on the signs and wonders we are not taking seriously. Tik Tok Time has awaken so many thoughts and I plan to be wiser because of this notion. God always does what He wants, how He wants, and when He wants. #Message
Therefore, I look forward to viewing more Tik Tok Time videos. It helps pass along the day. I also look forward to watching God’s time unfold with the mystery of His Will for my life and yours. As always remember to shop yourself grace along with others! #AlwaysGraceful
